3025144 - Error in external participant - "A user with this e-mail address already exists" - 360 Multi-Rater

Symptom

In 360, when adding or searching an external participant's email address, gives error message: "A user with this e-mail address already exists"

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors 360 Multi-Rater

Resolution

To resolve the issue, please disable the option "Hide External Users from search results."  

  1. Go to Admin Center
  2. On the tool search box, type Company System and Logo Settings
  3. Uncheck the box "Hide External Users from search results."
