3025995 - How to show or hide " Add to Learning History " option in a Class

Symptom

Add to Learning History option not visible for a class

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

Reproducing the Issue

  1.  Navigate to Learning Administration > Learning Activities > Classes
  2. Search for the Class id
  3. Under " Actions " drop down, "Add to Learning History" option is not visible

Cause

Affected user has a missing " Add History Record " role

Resolution

In order for a user to be able to see the " Add to Leaning History" option under Class, The affected user must have an " Add History Record " role. 

Below are the steps: 

To show " Add to Leaning History" option under Class. 

  1. Learning Administration > System Administration > Security > Role Management
  2. Go to Permissions tab, Click the link to "add one or more from list".
  3. Under People Management
  4. add "Add History Record" role
  5. Click apply changes
  6. Then retest

To hide " Add to Leaning History" option under Class. 

  1. Learning Administration > System Administration > Security > Role Management
  2. Go to  Permissions tab
  3. Under People Management, remove "Add History Record" role
  4. Click apply changes
  5. Then retest
