3026096 - How to Select G/L Account range in the Trial Balance web dynpro app?

• Error message: "Enter a valid value for the characteristic 2FICIGLACCINCOA" for selecting a G/L Account range in navigation panel filter.
• From cloud edition 2102 release the App Trial Balance(Design Studio) is deprecated and the App Trial Balance web dynpro app is available.

• Financial Accounting (FI).
• SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition. 

1. Go to Trail Balance Web dynpro app.
2. Enter mandatory fields values.
3. Press Go button.
4. Click on the Navigation Panel button on top right corner.
5. Select filter option from Dimensions drop down.
6. Press the filter option on G/L Account.
7. In the define filters values for G/L Account.
8. G/L Account in between 60000000 to 99999999.
9. Press OK button.

In the Navigation Panel Define filter Values for G/L Account. G/L Account range can be selected from the result set only. Kindly, follow the below steps to select the range of G/L Account from the result set.

1. Click on Navigation Panel button.
2. Click the dropdown on Dimensions.
3. Choose Show Filter.
4. In the dimension G/L Account click on the filter button.
5. In the popuop screen Define Filter Values - G/L Account.
6. For a G/L Account range select the "G/L Account" "is between" from the drop down.
7. In the field "From" click on the F4 value help.
8. Give the chart of account. Ex. Standard chart of accounts YCOA.
9. Press on GO button.
10. Select the starting G/L Account for your range.
11. Similarly repeat for the "To" field.
