Symptom
Running an adhoc report on Recruiting Groups in the system shows unknown groups, with names looking like this one: TR_PP|R_[R]|T_recruiterTeam|TL_101
These groups are not visible in Admin Center > Manage Recruiting Groups. Where do they come from?
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management (RCM)
Reproducing the Issue
Create an adhoc report using the Recruiting V2 domain and select the Recruiting Group table. You may notice unknown Groups using the format above.
Cause
These groups are coming from users Personal Preferences. This is an expected behaviour.
Resolution
The Groups coming up in the reports are the user's personal preferences (under My Recruiting Team Preferences in the Recruiting module).
The names are system generated and indicating how the Groups are defined. For example:
The Group TR_PP|R_[R]|T_recruiterTeam|TL_101 stands for user's personal preference (PP), when playing role (R_) as recruiter ([R]), the recruiterTeam will be (T_recruiterTeam) the selection user * and all this selection is tied to a particular template (TL) with id 101.
The reports pulling up this data is an expected behavior as the data is created by the user's actions on the settings Personal Preferences.
Note: These groups can't be renamed and are system generated.
