3026471 - Count Mismatch in Complete New Hire Tasks Todo tile - Onboarding

Complete New Hire Task Todo tile in Home page shows X number, but when you open the tile, no record is displayed.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Login to instance and proxy as affected user (Either HM user or Responsible user assigned to perform the task)
2. Notice the number displayed on Complete New Hire Task tile
3. Open the tile and verify the records displayed 

There might have been Cancelled Process but Open task for some candidate in Process object. Since Process was cancelled, these tasks are not valid.

Recently we noticed many customers reporting issue, where todo count was mismatching in Complete New Hire Tasks. So follow the below steps to identify the Open task and to Cancel this task

Steps:

1. Open Import and Export Data and select Export Data and Object Type as Process and submit.
2. Go to Monitor Job and download newly created file.
3. Once downloaded extract the zip folder and open Process.csv in Excel
4. Remove first row and insert Table in all records so that filter can be applied.
5. Add Filter as Process Status = CANCELLED
6. Add filter as Tasks Status = OPEN
7. Resultant process ids may not be correct populated
8. Open Manage Data and Where to Go Task Object and search for the process which was resulted after above filter.
9. If the status of task is Open then, Take Actionà Make Correction and change task status to cancelled and Save

If Task Status is completed, ignore and proceed on next process.

Note: Engineering is analyzing this issue and could see in case of many customers it was happening as Process was in cancelled status and one of the Todo was not in cancelled or completed status. The activity was common in both which is Where To Go Activity. So we can cancel these tasks manually from manage Data and this shall resolve Todo Mismatch if above is the cause.

Also, Engineering is working on a permanent fix.
