Symptom

When clicking the tile "Manage Your Solution", the following message is generated:

The business configuration of this tenant is managed by SAP Central Business Configuration. For more information, follow the link to the product user assistance on the SAP Help Portal:Configuration Environment of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition Essentials system
  2. Click Manage Your Solution tile

Cause

The business configuration of this tenant is managed by SAP Central Business Configuration (CBC). SAP Central Business Configuration is used as the configuration environment of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition. Therefore, all the system configuration should be performed in CBC tenant.

Resolution

New customers starting with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2011 or later are automatically connected to SAP Central Business Configuration.

For customers with existing SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition systems, a step-by-step conversion from the current configuration environment of the Configure Your Solution app to SAP Central Business Configuration is planned. Customers will be informed about the conversion individually. Existing configurations which have been done in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition via the "Configure Your Solution" app will not be changed by the move to the new configuration environment. After the conversion, SAP Central Business Configuration can be used to change the existing settings or do any future configuration.
