3027243 - Adding a Date or Time Key Figure to a Chart while using a Live BW connection does not work in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC

When adding a Date or Time Key figure to a chart while using a Live BW connection, the chart does not display the value.

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2021.21.11

1. Create a new story based off of a Live BW connection
2. Add a chart (or KPI)
3. Add a key figure which is a Date or Time value
4. Note that the value is not displayed.

This limitation is by design.

This limitation is documented here.  An enhancement request for this functionality has been created here.

Note: Date and Time values will work in tables. This limitation only applies to charts.
