3027261 - New members rejected error occurred when refresh the data source of model in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• When importing data to a SAC model the data load rejects rows that contain a new member for a dimension in the data model, failure reason is New members rejected, although in the import option update dimension with new values is checked.

• SAP Analytics Cloud 2021.2.8

1. Open a Model
2. Switch to the Data Management tab
3. In the Import Jobs panel, click the refresh button (Refresh source grouping now)
4. Notice that there is a warning indicating some rows are rejected, download the CSV file and found that the failure reason is New members rejected. But in the import options, update dimension with new values is checked.

• Issue with a Dimension that only had 1 member, when the expectation was to have 2.

• Adjust the Dimension memebers of the dimension.
