3027965 - Picklist value is deleted when imported with blank value

Symptom

When there is no translation for a locale for picklist ID, and when there is an import done with that locale as empty value, these picklist values are getting updated with NULL.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Core

SAP SuccessFactors Metadata Framework

Resolution

Please do not import any field value as blank in import file, in case you do not want that field value to get updated by null.
In picklist import file always enter default label value at least.

To avoid/prevent this issue an Enhancement ticket ECT-155972 is open with no ETA as of now.

This is for introducing proper error message be displayed and customer should be forced to enter values for default picklist
