3028078 - Warning: No Validations Configured for Country During Personal Data Collection - Onboarding

During the Personal Data Collection step in Onboarding, a warning message is displayed that prevents the new hire from completing the step. The message references the new hire's country code and indicates that no validation configuration exists for it.

Error:

"Warning: Please ensure valid entries are maintained for (Country) as no validation(s) are configured. Please contact system administrator for further assistance."

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Start a new hire's Personal Data Collection step.
2. Navigate to the section containing country-specific data fields (such as bank account or routing number fields).
3. Observe that the warning message appears and the step cannot be completed.

The CountrySpecificValidationConfiguration MDF object is missing its External Visibility setting. When External Visibility for this object is not configured, the system cannot retrieve the required validation rules for the new hire's country during the Personal Data Collection step and returns the warning message.

The resolution requires setting the External Visibility of the CountrySpecificValidationConfiguration MDF object so that validation rules are accessible during the Personal Data Collection step. This is done using the External User Visibility tool in Admin Center.

1. In Admin Center, type External User Visibility in the Tools search field and open the page.
2. In the object search field, type CountrySpecificValidationConfiguration and locate the relevant country instance.
3. Set the External Visibility field to Yes for the affected country record.
4. Save the changes.
5. Ask the new hire to reload or restart the Personal Data Collection step and attempt to proceed again.

Note: If multiple countries are affected, repeat step 3 for each country instance that shows no External Visibility set.

After setting External Visibility for the CountrySpecificValidationConfiguration bject, the warning no longer appears during Personal Data Collection and the new hire can complete the step without errors.
