3028184 - Deleted background information in Employee Profile did not reduce storage in Manage Documents

• Deleted background information in Employee Profile but when checking Manage Documents, no space was released and it the documents are still weighing on platform storage. How can we delete them permanently?
• adding attachment in people profile portlet but not saving it still the attachment is stored in document management

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

The deletes initiated on Employee Profile's background information is invoking a soft delete instead of an actual document delete.

• If an attachment was deleted or removed directly from the module page where it was uploaded and is still visible under Manage Documents page, this means that the module attachment is using "soft deletion".
• To improve consistency across all module attachments in BizX, we are targeting to fix this at the concerned module level in upcoming releases. Further updates regarding this enhancement will be provided in this KBA, once available.
