3028388 - AMC:install_baldr.sh fails with login errors - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • install_baldr.sh servername sa sapassword $SYBASE/AMC/scripts sapsapassword

  • Fails with following last lines of the install process:

    (0 rows affected)
    Msg 911, Level 11, State 2:
    Server 'da_target', Line 1:
    Attempt to locate entry in sysdatabases for database 'sybmgmtdb' by name failed
    - no entry found under that name. Make sure that name is entered properly.
    ERROR: Login sapsa not created (BALDR1301)
    CT-LIBRARY error:
    ct_results(): network packet layer: internal net library error: Net-Library operation terminated due to disconnect
    Msg 4002, Level 14, State 1:
    Server 'servername':
    Login failed.
    CT-LIBRARY error:
    ct_connect(): protocol specific layer: external error: The attempt to connect to the server failed.
