3028389 - SF Hosted SFTP Server check box is disabled in Report Center

User is trying to schedule a Canvas report to SFTP in Report Center but SF Hosted SFTP Server check box is disabled/grayed out

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

1. Go to Report Center
2. Select any Canvas report and click on New Schedule action
3. In the job configuration Step 3 Destination, select Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) as the Method
4. Notice that the 'SF Hosted SFTP Server' check box is grayed out even after you enter the Host Address

'SF Hosted SFTP Server' check box is not applicable when scheduling Canvas reports

When scheduling Canvas reports, it is an expected system behavior that the 'SF Hosted SFTP Server' check box is grayed because you have to manually enter the host address (i.e. sftp4.successfactors.com). This is the same when configuring SFTP in Report Distributor.

'SF Hosted SFTP Server' check box is only applicable when scheduling Table reports. When this is enabled, it will automatically populate the Host Address with the datacenter's SF host address, which will show as 'sf-hosted-sftp'. The same behavior has been adopted from when we were still scheduling Table/ad hoc reports in Provisioning.
