3029155 - Custom Fields generated via tx. SCFD_EUI can no longer be published

Symptom

In Fiori app "Custom Fields and Logic", re-publishing a Custom Field generated via tx. SCFD_EUI fails with message "Could not be published" and the field status is set to "Publishing fails".

Transaction SCFD_LOG shows error message "DDIC Mass Activation: Activation failed" for the relevant field.

The activation log CFD_DD_MASS_ACT_LOG_<date>_<time> at the time the field was tried to be published, shows errors such as "The column <DB field> is unknown" or "The component <DB field> does not exist or is not active".
