3030430 - NIEHOST_UNKNOWN error during RFC connection test to Cloud Integration

Symptom

While testing a direct connect to Cloud Integration (former CPI) endpoint, below error occurs:

NIEHOST_UNKNOWN

In ICM log, below error can be found:

Direct connect to https://<tenantID>-iflmap.hcisbt.<dataCenter>.hana.ondemand.com:443 failed: NIEHOST_UNKNOWN(-2)

Typical Cloud Integration endpoint URL pattern:
