3031142 - S/4HANA Service: CATS error during confirmation of service or repairs

Symptom

  • You're completing a Service Confirmation or a Repair Confirmation. Once the document is saved, system returns the error message: CRM_ORDER_MISC 020 "Diagnosis - Errors occurred while trying to create follow-up documents. To view the error messages, see the enclosed log"
  • Transmission log displays the error: "No CATS key could be created for item xxxxxxxxxx / 0000000010 (E CRMSERV_ACC_EXEC 001)"
