3031555 - Run Import Jobs in the Validate Configurations Tool in Continuous Performance Management

• The Validation tool in the Continuous Performance Management configuration panel has been enhanced to include a Run Import Jobs button under the Initial Configurations section.
• The Run Import Jobs option will appear if there are initial configuration errors related to certain entities (OtherTopicStatus,ActivityStatus, FeedbackFlag) that may have failed to import when CPM was initially enabled.
• The Run Import Jobs option is currently only available when the system language is set to English US.

Important Note

• If your system language is set to any language other than English US or English Debug, you may still see the older version of the Initial Configurations error which contains the advice to disable/re-enable Continuous Performance Management.  For customers on legacy CPM, this will automatically upgrade them to the latest version - please do not carry out these steps. 
• Once you’ve enabled the latest version of Continuous Performance Management, you cannot go back to the previous version.
• This system message will be updated for other languages in the upcoming 1H 2021 Release.

SAP SuccessFactors Continuous Performance Management

1. The Admin selects the Validate button on the Continuous Performance Management Configuration page.
2. If there is an error under the Initial Configurations section of the Validate Configurations pop-up window, the link to "Run Import Jobs" is available which will allow the Admin to re-run the Import jobs
   
   
3. When the import starts, there will be a loading indicator within the Validate Configurations Pop up.
4. After the job completes, the Validation tool will re-run.

Notes:

• If there are configuration errors relating to the Legacy CPM Notifications, the Run Import Jobs will not resolve the Initial Configurations error relating to these notifications.
• As the legacy notifications will be retired in the upcoming 1H 2021 release, once the Validate option is used post-1H 2021 release, the initial configuration errors will no longer appear.
• The Run Import Jobs option is currently only available when the system language is set to English US.
