3031761 - Cannot use the same version as source and target when running a data action - SAP Analytics Cloud

When running a Data Action to copy data on the same version and destination, the following error occurs in SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning (SAC):

• Copy [Version]: The target version [VersionB] conflicts with an advanced formulas step that uses the same version to read reference data. 
  Please try again with a different target version, or edit the advanced formulas step.

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2021.2.8

This is a known limitation.

Data copy on same version Source and Destination is not supported.

The selected version member should be different from the %TargetVersion% member. When your need to copy data from same version, please do not specify source and target version in the data action advanced formulas step.
