3032615 - Activate Validation for Page Layouts not Available

Symptom

When going to the Adaptation mode, you will see a checkbox to activate the validations.
On specific page layouts, this option is not available.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to any workcenter and view
  2. Open adaptation mode
  3. Select any validation rule
  4. On Master layout, you will see the Activate checkbox
  5. On specific Page Layouts, this will not appear.

Cause

This change("AddValidation") is not supported in Page layouts.

Only AddPostCondition changes are related to Page Layouts.

Resolution

 This is the current system behavior.
