3033193 - Error "Maintain plant & for the sales area" when creating an intercompany sales order - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

When creating an intercompany sales order, the following error occurs: Maintain plant & for the sales area (V1762).

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Attempt to create an intercompany sales order in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
2. Observe the error message: "Maintain plant & for the sales area" (V1762).

Sales area is not maintained for the plant this intercompany sales order uses.

At the moment, SSCUI for 'Assign Organizational Units to the Plants' is not yet released for maintenance.

Alternatively, as workarounds, this configuration can be maintained via SSCUI 101926 'Define Shipping Data for Plants' or 180019 'Define Shipping Data for Stock Transfers Between Storage Locations'.

If the maintenance is configured via SSCUI 101926, to activate corresponding intercompany sales scope item is a prerequisite.
