Resolution
Once both latest version of Goal Management and latest version of Continuous Performance Management are enabled on an environment, the integration between both is automatic.
There is no switch or setting to control the integration between Latest Goals and Latest CPM (For Legacy CPM, see the following KBA on how to integrate CPM and Goals: 2451932 - Viewing the Continuous Performance Management Achievement Column on Goal Plan and Development Plan )
The following outlines how the integration works:
- In Continuous Performance, if a user adds an activity and links it to a goal, that activity will display on the goal drilldown in the default goal plan.
- In Continuous Performance, if a user adds an activity and links it to a goal, then tags it as an achievement, the achievement will display on the goal drilldown in the default goal plan.
- In Continuous Performance, if a user creates a goal, the goal will display in the default goal plan.
- On the default Goal Plan, if a user creates an activity from a goal, this will display on the goal in the CPM Activities View under both the "View by Status" and "View by Goal" tabs. On the "View by Goal" tab, the activity will display on top of the goal on the kanban board.
- On a non-default Goal Plan, if a user creates an activity from a goal, this will display on the goal in the CPM Activities View under the "View by Status" and "View by Goal" tabs. On the "View by Goal" tab, the activity will display under "Not Linked to Goals" on the kanban board.
