3034231 - Change in Bill-To Address Maintained in Relationship Subtab in Account Master Data Do Not Update the New Created Invoice Request

You need to change the Bill-To Address for different Invoice Requests of the same Source Document.

You maintain the Bill-To Address as Relationship in Account Master Data. Before creating the Invoice Request, you update the Bill-To Address in Relationship subtab, however, this new address is not taken for Invoice creation.

SAP Business ByDesign.

1. Go to the Sales Orders work center.
2. Go to the New Contract common task
3. In the Invoice Scheduled subtab, add item.
4. Create the first Invoice - Bill-To Address is correct.
5. Update the Bill-To Address in Relationship subtab in Account Master Data.
6. Create the sencond Invoice - Bill-To Address is not taken accordingly to the change.

The reason why the scenario does not work - change done in the Account (Party ID) in the Relationship subtab to a different Account (Party ID) - is because the redetermination does not redetermine the Party itself, but only the entered details in the Party Master Data for the Bill-To Address.

If you have the Scoping Question "Do you want to redetermine the address of the Bill-To Party from the master data at the time of invoice creation?" activate, instead of defaulting the Bill-To Address from the corresponding predecessor document, the system will default the Address from the Account Master Data at the time of Customer Invoice and Project Invoice Request creation.

Once this question is scoped, you are not able to manually change the Bill-To Party in Sales Documents anymore, including Customer Invoicing.

It means that you can update the Bill-To Party Address from the Account Master Data before creating Invoices, but you can't update the Bill-To Party in Relationship subtab.
