3034345 - Error While Opening Custom DataSource: Query execution failed

You are receiving below errors while opening the custom data source created from SDK:

No connection to search engine

The FSI entity VIEW (Name: YXYZ) has no core part, where YZXYZ is the custom query definition.

View definition YXYZ could not be found

Query execution failed

Dereferencing of the NULL reference

Unexpected error occured

SAP Cloud Application Studio

1. Login to UI.
2. Navigate to Business Analytics work center view.
3. Select Data Source view.
4. Search and open the relevant data source.
5. Error appears.

This usually happens if the data source and the associated FSI view is inactive in the backend.

If the issue is happening in the development tenant, login to SDK and activate the data source and SADL file.

If the issue is in production tenant where the solution is uploaded, you can raise an incident to get the files activated.
