3034387 - CPM workbooks not working properly after upgrade to S/4HANA 2020

Symptom

After upgrading to S/4HANA 2020, Commercial Project Management standard workbooks are not working properly when using planning functions.

In RFC traces (e.g. dev_nco_rfc.log), entries similar to the following can be found:
