3035126 - Time Account Balances report (HCMTLMU06_Q0001) only delivers data if there are postings on this day/selected period.

• Regardless of the selection, the Time Account Balances report (HCMTLMU06_Q0001) shows only a balance in case there is a posting on the key-date.
• Your expectation is to see the remaining balance for all employees regardless if there is a posting on the keydate or not.

Example:

• An employee XYZ has a specific amount of days remaining leave on a specific date, but no posting entry on that specific date.
• In the Time Account Balances report (HCMTLMU06_Q0001), if you select this Employee, you cannot call the report.
• If you select a period larger than this, the values are displayed correctly.

SAP Business ByDesign

The Time Account Balance Report (HCMTLMU06_Q0001) will only show employees who have a posting on the specific 'Date From/To' filtered dates. This is the expected behavior of the report.

If the Date From/To selection dates are wide enough i.e. 1.1.2020 - 31.12.2020, then on the basis that most employees will have had activity on the account, the balance should appear.

However there is another data source HCMTLMU02 that can be used to create a new report which might meet your requirements better.  The data source can be found via the following path: Business Analytics >Design Data Sources and look for 'Employee Time Accounts'.
