3035286 - Profit Center Determination

System doesn't determine a new profit center when the Employee Responsible is changed.

• Modify the Employee Responsible of an existing item.
• Field Profit Center is not substituted with the profit center from new employee.

System design

Profit Center can be automatically determined if

• There is not any FI posting.
• There is not any updated value.

When there is some previous value (e.g.the profit center from the employee responsible) do the following

1. Remove the old profit center. This option is only possible in case of no FI posting data.
2. Change the employee responsible.
3. System should update the new profit center from the new Employee responsible.

Additionally the Profit Centre can be set as default within the following path App Manage Your Solution -> Configure Your Solution, Application Area: Finance, Sub Application Area: General Ledger, Item: Document Splitting, Step name: Edit Constant for Nonassigned Processes (SSCUI 120100), for constant 0DFLT, Assignment of Profit Centers.
