3035348 - Report Key Figures not Respecting Currency Conversion

You created a custom report and noticed that the Key Figures don't respect the Currency Conversion settings specified in the report modeling / report Selection parameters.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the work center Business Analytics.
2. Go to the work center view Design Reports.
3. Open report BCD ('BCD' represents the report name).
4. In the report selection, define the target currency in the relevant characteristic (for example, "Display Currency" and "Display Currency - Conversion Date").
5. Execute the report.
6. The monetary (amount) key figure ABC is still displaying multiple currencies, instead of respecting the target currency defined on step 4 above.

In the modeling of custom report BCD, the creator chosen the key figure ABC as standalone key figure instead of selecting it from the respective Key Figure Group. Standalone key figures will not refer to the currency conversion characteristics (for example, "Display Currency" and "Display Currency - Conversion Date"). Instead, the Key Figures Groups should be used for this purpose.

In the report modeling, select the desired key figure from its respective Key Figure Group instead of picking it as a standalone key figure.

1. Go to the Business Analytics work center.
2. Go to the Design Reports work center view.
3. Search for report BCD ('BCD' represents the report name).
4. Click "Edit With" button.
5. Select "Report Wizard".
6. Go to Step 2 "Select Key Figures".
7. Set the drill-down on the right corner to "Key Figure Groups".
8. Expand the available Key Figure Groups until you find the desired key figure.
9. Select the desired key figure.
10. Proceed to step 4 "Characteristic Properties".
11. Define the target currency in the relevant Currency Conversion characteristics (for example, "Display Currency" and "Display Currency - Conversion Date").
12. Save the report.

When executing the report, it should now respect the currency conversion settings defined.
