Symptom
When customer tries to search user that have an Special Character in the name, but customer tries using an alternative/similar character, the same is not being searcheable. While the people/action search bring those data.
Environment
SuccessFactors HXM Suite
Reproducing the Issue
Follow the below steps to reproduce the issue:
- Go to Admin Center
- Search by Manage Users
- Search by a user that have special character and use the alternative character for that.
For example: The user has the first name as Dębica and when you try to search by Debica, the search does not bring the data of the user.
Resolution
This is an expected behavior, the Search feature on Manage User is not the same of people search. Customers will need to search users using special charactes in case that the user has the special characters in the name.
