Symptom
When a new item is created, it cannot be added to a library. "Available in Library" is set to "No" and "Library SKU" is not available in the item either.

Reproducing the Issue
- Create a new item > Fill out required details >
- When the item is created, go to the "Library" tab >
- Click the icon "+" and select a library to be added >
- The error message is displayed.
Cause
Before item creation, changes in the FINANCIAL configuration were made and the setting "autoCreateMasterInventory" was changed to "false".
Resolution
- Learning Administration >
- System Administration >
- Configuration >
- System Configuration >
- FINANCIAL >
- Find the "autoCreateMasterInventory" setting and change it to "true" > Apply Changes.
Please keep in mind that this change will only affect the entities created after the change. This means that the setting is not applied retroactively.
