3038138 - Error "Memory allocation failed" when doing a live connection to a Hana view in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

When trying to run a Hana view through SAC, you get the error:

"[Error] Server: (#42014) Caught exception : exception 70000009: Memory allocation failed;exception 1000002: Allocation failed ; \$size\$=123456789; \$name\$=Results; \$type\$=pool; \$inuse_count\$=17; \$allocated_size\$=9876543210; \$alignment\$=8; \$failure_type\$=PROCESS_ALLOCATION_LIMIT; \$failure_flag\$=

If you extract the MDS query from the HAR file (KBA 2691501 and KBA 2550833 ) and run the MDS query directly on the Hana server you will get the same error.
