3038757 - Manager Field not defaulted during Higher Duty Assignment

When creating a Higher Duty Assignment, after selecting the Position, the Manager field is not automatically populating from the Position. However, when selecting the same Position again under Job Information, the Manager is then populated as expected.

1. Add Higher Duty/Temporary Assignment
2. Fill out the required fields, including 'Higher Duty/Temporary Assignment Position' and Continue

This is currently a known behavior/feature gap. At the moment, the Manager (Supervisor) field does not default based on the Higher-Level Position incumbent when creating a Higher Duty/Temporary Assignment.

This functionality is not supported in the current design.

As a current workaround, if you select the same Position again in the Job Information section, the Manager field is then defaulted correctly based on the Position’s hierarchy.
