3038994 - RBAM Error when trying to use ODATA in Analytics

Symptom

You receive an error when trying to Generate an ODATA Query such as below:

RBAM: No authorization for 'BuiltIn <default> READ' on instance '00163E3369581EE7A1EA4A0B3F683591' of 'BONodeProxy <default> YXXXXXXXX_11111111111111111111 <default> ROOT1111111111111111' in context 'UIApplication <default> /YXXXXXXXX_MAIN/SRC/PriceApproval/abcdWCV_OWL.OWL.uicomponent <default> <default> Operation <default> Start'.

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

Go to Business Analytics.
Go to Design Reports.
Click on Build ODATA Queries.
Click on Generate Data Query.
You will receive the aforementioned error message.

Other scenarios are possible.

Cause

The user who is experiencing this error does not have the correct Access Restrictions set.

Resolution

Please check if the user has both read and write access for the correct work centers.
