Environment

SAP Cloud For Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Visits work center.
  2. Opens visit XYZ (XYZ represents visit ID).
  3. Go to survey Tab opens a survey.
  4. User starts answering the survey.
  5. User goes back to the visit tab while the survey in the background remains open in a separate tab.
  6. User switches to the "Overview" tab of the open visit XYZ.
  7. The tab of the open survey is closed automatically and entries are lost.

Cause

This is a designed behavior for performance reasons, But we agree that this behavior needs to be improved.

Resolution

System Closes Survey Tab Automatically when you Switch the Tab in the Visits, This is a designed behavior for performance reasons, But we agree that this behavior needs to be improved. Unfortunately, nothing can be done here immediately due to framework limitation. This has been added into development list to fix it in future.
