3039419 - The EM failed to start. Assertion failed

Wily Enterprise Manager fails to start. The IntroscopeEnterpriseManager.log contains the following:

"[ERROR] [WrapperSimpleAppMain] [Manager] The EM failed to start. Assertion failed
[INFO] [WrapperSimpleAppMain] [Manager] Shutting down data persistence subsystem
[INFO] [WrapperSimpleAppMain] [Manager] Shutting down the Isengard server
[INFO] [WrapperSimpleAppMain] [Manager] Orderly shutdown complete."

Find IntroscopeEnterpriseManager.properties file under ./config folder and change the value INFO of property log4j.logger.Manager=INFO, logfile to VERBOSE.
Restart Wily EM again, in the latest IntroscopeEnterpriseManager.log, you'll find the following errors:
