The error “Invalid Relationship Category” is Raised in The Business Partner Fiori Apps

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open one of the Business Partner Fioir Apps e.g. Manage Customer Master Data app
  2. Select a Customer 
  3. Try to add a releationship such as FM0001 Sales Representative and press the Save button
  4. The error “Invalid Relationship Category” is raised

Cause

The maintenance of the following relationship categories with a differentiation type other than zero is not supported in the Fiori UI.

Resolution

When maintaining Business Partners which have the above mentioned relationship categories please use the Maintain Business Partner Master Data App
