3039911 - How to Filter Amount in Transaction Currency in app Trial Balance Properly?

In app Trial Balance, user can't filter Amount in Transaction Currency(Starting/Debit/Credit/Ending balance in Transaction Currency) properly, the display seems to be very odd.
Please note, old Design Studio app (Trial Balance-F0996A) will be deleted from the system as of SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2108, we would suggest you to use new Web Dynpro app (Trial Balance-F0996) instead.
The two apps should behave very similar, in this KBA only screenshots from new Web Dynpro app displayed for your reference.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open Web Dynpro app Trial Balance, add Field "Transaction Currency" to Columns, and open Measures >> add "Ending Balance in Transaction Currency" to display.
   (when using the old Design Studio app, you can find “Adding Measures to Display” by right clicking on Ending Balance in Transaction under Measures)

2. To filter on the measures by right clicking on one of the measure columns and select Filter -> Manage Filter by Measure (Conditions).
   (when using the old Design Studio app, you can find “Define Conditions” window by right clicking on Measures)
   Set rules Ending Balance in Transaction Currency Equal To 3344. We expect that the first row above will be be selected to display.

   
   
   

3. Click Go. nothing selected and we get odd display.
   
   

This feature seems to be a bit odd, depending on how you filter/select. As soon as you have the results/totals or show the currency in the columns, the display is very odd.

In order to get a proper display, you should remove the results/totals and show the transaction currency in the rows. Then you can define the conditions on the ending amount and you will get the right display.
