3039936 - Delete Competitor From Business Partner in Cloud for Customer

Symptom

You created a competitor out of a business partner, but you do not see an option to unlink them.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Competitors workcenter
  2. Go to Competitors view
  3. From the object work list, select More 
  4. Select Create from Business Partner 
  5. Select the relevant Business Partner LMN (LMN represents the name of the business partner)
  6. Fill relavnt data and select Create Competitor from Business Partner
  7. Open the Competitor created in step 6 (say PQR, where PQR represents the name of the competitor)
  8. In the header of PQR you will see a hyperlink which says Is also Account

You want to unlink the relation between LMN and PQR, but you do not see an option to do so.

Cause

 The functionality to remove the link between those two objects is currently not available via the UI.

Resolution

This is the system current standard behavior. If the feature/functionality is required urgently, please refer to KBA 3475641 - Functionality Currently not Available.
