3040262 - Blank errors on Hire and Manage Pending HIres Screens - Employee Central

This KBA cover some known blank errors that you might experience on Add New Employee wizard or even on Manage Pending Hires.

Here some causes that can happen on Add New Employee and/or Manage Pending Hires:

Cause 1: Invalid picklist was set in a predefined standard field, please check following KBA for more details: 2197679 - Blank Error Message while hiring or adding new employee

Cause 2: Username already exists in the system, please check following KBA for more details: 2573799 - Blank Error Message when submitting New Hire

Here some causes that can happen when error happens just on Manage Pending Hires screens:

Cause 1: Succession Data Model or Candidate Profile is not configured on the instance, please check following KBA for more details:   2864168 - New hire gives blank error message but employee is hired
