Symptom

How to check if a particular C4C tenant/system URL is AKAMAI enabled.

Environment

  • SAP Business ByDesign
  • SAP Cloud for Customer

Resolution

Open the operation system cmd prompt  → execute the command nslookup myXXXXXX.crm.ondemand.com

Result will show: Non-authoritative answer: myXXXXXX.crm.ondemand.com  

  • If your tenant URL is  NOT AKAMAI enabled, the output of the command will show:
    Non-authoritative answer: Name: wd-XXX-X.crm.ondemand.com

  • If your tenant URL is AKAMAI ION enabled, the output of the command will show:
    Aliases:   row1.crm.ondemand.com.edgekey.net
  • If your tenant URL is AKAMAI IPA enabled (current feature enabled for most EUDP tenants) the output of the command will show:
    Aliases    *.xyz.sap.srip.net
