3041892 - Cannot Select Gross Surcharge Price Component in Total Pricing of Sales Order

In the Business Configuration activity Configure Price Strategy, Total Display was activated for the price component Gross Surcharge.

However, when creating a new sales order, in the Pricing and Invoicing tab, it is still not possible to add a Gross Surcharge in the Total Pricing section.

1. Go to the Sales Orders work center.
2. Go to the Sales Orders view.
3. Select the Sales Order ABC and click Edit (where ABC represents the sales order ID).
4. In the General tab, the Price In field is set to Gross.
5. Navigate to the Pricing and Invoicing tab and Pricing sub tab.
6. In the Total Pricing section, click Add Row.
7. In the Drop Down list for the Price Component, the Gross Surcharges are not available.

In the current system version, it is not possible to use the Gross Surcharge Price Component on header level in a sales order.

As a workaround, it is advised to use the Gross Surcharge at item level instead.
As an alternative, a new system requirement can also be suggested in the SAP Customer Influence Forum.
