Symptom

  • While downloading note in transaction SNOTE, one of the following error messages is observed:
An error occurred while saving file '...trans\tmp\XXX.SAR' on the application server
        Error when saving file '/usr/sap/trans/tmp/XXX.SAR' on the application server
        Error while saving file '/usr/sap/trans/tmp/XXX.SAR' on the application serve


    

  • In transaction AL11, while opening DIR_TRANS directory, the following error message is seen:
    •
