3042245 - Welcome Message' Tile Not Showing on Internal Hire's Homepage - Onboarding

Symptom

Unable to see the "Welcome Message" tile and Buddy information within the Useful Contacts tile on the Internal Hire’s homepage.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Ensure Manager has completed New Hire candidate activities for Welcome Message and Buddy 
  2. New Hire logs into SuccessFactors
  3. No tile available for "Welcome Message"
  4. Useful Contacts tile  doesn't have buddy information

Cause

Missing Permission for role under "Onboarding or Offboarding Object Permissions"

Resolution

  • Go to manage permission role
  • Select the role of internal user
  • Under Onboarding or Offboarding Object Permissions provide 
  • Visibility for Message Task and Buddy Task
