The purpose of this page is to clarify the option to Add Learning Activity by Competency that is available from both the Career Development Plan and from the Career Worksheet.

Overview

The Career Development Plan and the Career Worksheet allow users to add Learning Activities from LMS (if the CDP-LMS integration "Transcript" is configured) either by choosing "Find in Catalog" or by choosing "Search by Competency". 

The "Find in Catalog" option opens the user's regular LMS catalog and allows users to add Learning Activities from there.

The "Search by Competency" option, on the other hand, only displays the Learning Items from the LMS catalog that are associated to the Competencies that the user is interested in improving.
