Additional information:

  • Any user with Edit Activity permission can delete any attachment regardless of who uploaded it i.e. if both the Manager and Direct Report have the permission to Edit an Activity, when a Manager uploads an attachment to the Direct Report's Activity, the Employee will be able to delete it.
  • Attachments cannot be deleted from Activities that have been archived within a Meeting History snapshot (i.e. when a meeting is saved and the Activity therein has been archived).
  • Supported file types: DOC, DOCX, PDF, HTM, HTML ,PPT, PPTX, XLS, XLSX, GIF, PNG, JPG, JPEG, RTG, BMP, TXT
  • Attachment storage limits (including Attachment User Limit and Attachment Max File Size) are set at a company level in Manage Documents. See the following KBA on how to amend the storage limits: 2518360 - The Manage Documents Feature in SuccessFactors
  • There is a max limit of 5 attachments per Activity for each user - this limit cannot be increased.
  • In the latest version of Goal Management, it is possible to create an activity to link to a goal. However, it is not possible to add an attachment in the Add Activity dialogue from latest version of Goal Management.
  • In the latest version of the Home Page, there is a "Create Activity" quick action card that may be enabled in Manage Home Page.  However, in the "Create Activity" quick action card, it is not possible to add an attachment.
  • It is not possible to report on Attachments on Activities in the Continuous Performance Management domain via Report Center > Table reports.
  • When Activities are purged as part of the DRTM Continuous Performance Purge, associated attachments will be purged too.
