3042998 - Metric Lookup Tables and Auto-Population in Latest Version of Goal Management - 1H 2021 Release

As of the 1H 2021 release, users can now use the Automatic population and Metric Lookup Tables to calculate ratings of a goal in the latest version of Goal Management.

SAP SuccessFactors Goal Management

Prerequisites:

• Latest version of Goal Management is enabled. (Caution: Once you’ve upgraded to the latest version. You can not go back to the previous version)
• The goal plan XML template has the relevant Metric Lookup Table field definition and permissions. Please refer to the Goal Management Implementation Guide: Metric Lookup Basics
• The goal plan XML template has the relevant autopopulation configuration. Please refer to the Goal Management Implementation Guide: Autopopulation

NOTE: As a customer, you do not have access to Provisioning. To complete tasks in Provisioning, contact your Implementation Partner. Additional Information:

• Metric lookup tables do not allow empty rows when the “write” permission is granted to this field.
• Metric lookup tables are not supported in Career Development Plans (CDP).
• The actual-achievement-text field is no longer supported on latest Goal Management
• If the linearity attribute of the metric-lookup-table field is set to true and you've entered the nonlinear data in metric lookup tables, you cannot save your changes when you edit a goal. This is a hard-stop, rather than a soft-warning as it is in legacy goals. 
• The question mark icon (tooltip) can be defined in the field-description of the metric-lookup-table field definition.
• The Metric Lookup Table field will not be visible in the Create Goal dialogue in the latest version of Continuous Performance. Users may still create and edit goals in CPM, however they will not see the Metric Lookup Table.
