3043121 - Job Information History - Insert or Edit record causes missing field labels

Symptom

When attempting to Insert or Edit a record within Job Information History, as soon as the 'Company' (or Legal Entity) value is changed, the UI window will show additional fields without labels. These empty fields are duplicates, however the Job Information fields will still be shown with their labels and values further down in the UI.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open People Profile and navigate to Job Information History for any employee
  2. Open Job Information History and choose to 'Edit' and existing record or 'Insert' a new record
  3. Change the 'Company' value

Cause

The issue is caused when <hris-section id="orgFieldsList"> in the Succession Data Model (or Manage Business Configuration) has only one field "Company". Once a user attempts to change the 'Company' value in Job History (via correction/Insert new record), the issue is reproducible.

Resolution

This is not a defect, but a configuration issue that can be addressed by adding additional fields to the <hris-section id="orgFieldsList"> in the Succession Data Model (or Manage Business Configuration)
