3043173 - Candidate Profile History is blank for the candidates created via oData API

Symptom

For the candidates who are created via API, the candidate Profile history remains blank.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in to the instance
  2.  Access any candidate who is created via API
  3.  Open the profile
  4.  The history is blank

Resolution

This is the product behavior.

When the candidate is created via OData API, the candidate history will be blank.

The candidate creation activity will not get populated for the candidates who might have been created via OData. However, if any changes are again done to the candidate profile, then the changes will be logged in and can be seen in the candidate Audit history.
