Symptom

How can assigned items be removed from the ''My Learning Assignments'' tile?

Resolution

  1. The option "Hide From Learning Plan" can be used to hide some items. However, this option is available only for Items assigned as Optional through Curricula.



  2. For self-assigned items, the user will see a 'Remove' option at the same menu shown at #1
  3. For items that were assigned through Curricula but are required, assigned by manager, etc., then the items can be manually removed by an administrator:
    1. Navigate to Learning Administration > People > Users >
    2. Search the required user > open the record >
    3. Navigate to the 'Assigned Items' tab (to remove items), or 'Curricula' tab (to remove curricula) >
    4. Click on the three dots at then right side > click on 'Remove'
    5. To remove Programs, navigate to 'Programs' tab > select the checkbox for the program to be removed > click on the X button
  4. Mass unassignments can also be done using the Manage Assignments feature, as per Assigning Users to Learning Needs in Bulk
