3044884 - Custom Screen is not available in Offline mode

Symptom

You have created custom screens for an offline business object within the Cloud Applications Studio.

When syncing data and going to offline mode, the custom screens are not available.

Environment

  • SAP Cloud Applications Studio
  • SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

Prerequisites:

  • You have a PDI solution.
  • You have a custom BO which has the annotation [OfflineEnabled][WithAdministrativeData(IncludeSubnodes)].
  • The custom BO and screens are activated.
  • The custom work center is maintained in the Administrator > Offline Settings view.
  • You have assigned the necessary custom work centers to your business user for this BO.

Cause

One possible cause for this issue is that the required tags are missing in the UI Designer for the UI components.

Resolution

In the Properties tab of the UI Designer, the Tags: Device = Desktop and Device = Tablet, should be maintained for all the offline screens.

Then Save and Activate the screens and the related BO in the Studio.
