The feature is not enabled in provisioning:

Employee Central V2 (i.e., Event Reason Derivation) — requires “Enable Generic Objects”, “Effective Dated Data Platform”, “Employee Profile data audit” and “Enable the Attachment Manager”

Please enable EC in provisioning.
